If you are still putting together your summer ‘to do list’ be sure to add the free ‘Summer Concerts in the Park’ series. Every summer Parks, Recreation and Culture puts together a great line up of entertainment for you to enjoy on Wednesday evenings. So get the picnic basket ready!

This summer the series kicks off with ‘The Big Mess’ playing this Wednesday, July 10th at the Bowen Park Amphitheatre near the duck pond 6pm – 7:30pm. In August the concerts will be held at the Maffeo Sutton Park Lions Pavilion. The concerts are all family friendly.

In July we present performances by ‘The Big Mess’, Kenny Shaw & Brian Temple, ‘Flash Back Freddy. The August line up includes Blue Cadillac, The Royal Canadians, Saskia & Darrel, and the Nanaimo Chamber Orchestra.
