SOLSTICE by Elizabeth Wellburn, Deryk Houston & Samuel Houston, right across from the Port Theatre overlooking the boat basin at the entrance to McGregor Park. This is right beside the ‘town clock’ which was a gift from the Oddfellows a few years ago.

Just another good reason to take a stroll along our downtown waterfront this summer. A great place to bring your out-of-town guests this year.

There is no doubt that north Nanaimo has a lock of shopping centres and big box stores, but downtown is where it’s at if you want something interesting to see and do.
